education

As the children are the horse owners of the future, we believe it is very important to include them in our program and try to involve them through interactive activities during the visits to the communities. We also have an ongoing Humane education program in which we work with different schools from the communities we work with. This program is focused on the importance of the interaction between humans, the environment, and animals, promoting in the students critical thinking, empathy, and building perspective.

EQUINE WELFARE nETWORKS

Part of our objectives at each of the working equid communities we approach is to incorporate the concepts of generating an equine welfare network. This network is developed so each community has its service providers and a wider understanding of the horse’s needs. In each of our equine welfare networks, we aim to have trained farriers, saddlers, handlers, and community-based equine health consultants.

BESIDE OUR PROGRAMS…

We also participate in several activities involving training sessions, seminars, and demonstrations for government institutions, work organizations, and groups that work for animal welfare.

We have built essential alliances with universities to involve Vet students and Animal Science students (national and international) in different tasks we develop in our programs.
